Instrument & Control Engineering

shape

Instrumentation and Control refer to the investigation, measurement, and control of industrial processes using control instruments and software.  Measurement such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level are analyzed and controlled using electrical and mechanical actuators, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) and automated control systems. Instrumentation and process control is at the center of all industrial and manufacturing activities. Within a facility, every process is monitored and controlled so that it is optimized and safe. Control and instrumentation engineers are responsible of designing, developing, operating and managing instrumentation and control systems within an industry.

Instrumentation and Control Engineering courses covers areas from the basics of instrumentation to control system design, manufacture, maintenance, testing and fault finding. The courses are focused on theoretical knowledge along with practical hands on experience.
